Free, open source remixing software for the web.

What is Mixblendr?

Mixblendr is the first open source audio editing and mixing software for the web. Mixblendr lets bands host remix competitions on their websites, and lets fans create remixes in real-time in a browser. It's easy to setup and it's free.

Mixblendr is also a software platform for interactive music development on a variety of platforms, including desktop (alpha release here) and mobile (coming soon). You can read more about the project here.

Also be sure to check out our remix competition featuring music by Nine Inch Nails, T-Pain, Fort Minor, MC Lars, DJ Vadim, and Heiruspecs - create your own remix and vote on the best submissions. We're also looking for bands and artists who'd like to have their music featured on our site - get in touch if that's you.

Get Involved

Mixblendr is an open source project, licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License. We believe the web needs better interactive audio tools, and those tools should be based on open standards and free for all to use.

We're looking for developers who are skilled in Java, Objective-C, PHP, and MySQL to help with further development. We also welcome feedback on how to make Mixblendr better, and volunteers to help spread the word. If you want to get involved, get in touch.

You can also read our tumblr, become a fan on facebook, or follow us on twitter, and developers can join our mailing list.
